Winter is technically here in Dhaka, it is November already. The official season for scarves, shawls and stoles is here finally. Though we Bengali women wear scarves or stoles everyday with Kurtis and we call it Dupatta or Orna. There are so many ways you can wear the scarves. Scarves add value and style to your fashion. Be it a contrast scarf or a matching one, a nice scarf can be gorgeous.

I prefer to just loosely hang it from my left side or wrap it around my neck when I wear it with my Kurti. But if you are wearing western outfit, you can wear the scarves in countless ways. Always put a little thought to style a scarf before you go out. Wear it traditionally or creatively, but wear it with confidence. You can wear small square bandana scarf with jeans, long silk ones around the neck, printed chiffon with a skirt or knitted woolen ones pairing with a coat, whatever it is, however it is, it will make you a fashionista.

Living Blue, Jatra, Aranya, Aarong and Armadio have lovely scarves. You can choose from any of these shops and also from any where else you like it. Wear it with trousers, skirts or kurti. Make the best use of the season usuing Pashmina too. It will help you beat the cold and add glamour to your clothes.
