Hi guys, I have been awfully busy with too many things. Have been out of touch for more than a month. I was missing being on the blog. When I started the blog last year, spring was over so was strawberries from the market. Since then I was waiting for strawberries so that I could give my blog some glamour.

Today I present you, perhaps one of the easiest snack on earth. It takes 10 minutes to prepare and 0 minute to eat. For this you will require 250gms of fresh medium size strawberries, 120 gms of semi sweet chocolate chips, 1 table spoon of crisco, a dash of ground chili pepper and pinch of salt. Also you’ll need as many as skewers as strawberries.

 

Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat dry with kitchen tissue. Insert skewers from the leaf side. Meanwhile in a micro oven melt all the other ingredients together, for roughly 1 minute, if not check after every 10 seconds. By 90 seconds you should have the chocolate ready.

 

Now dip the berries in the bowl cover half and sprinkle some hundreds and thousands for decoration. I have put the skewers around a melon. This way the strawberries dry well and fast.

Refrigerate and serve chilled.

This adds glamour to any table. Brighten up the dessert spread with these sexy little beasts.
